The Alumni Association of the Collegio delle Università di Milano

Alumni

The Alumni Association, a non-profit group, gathers together the representatives of the Collegio di Milano. Its goal is to strengthen the ties between former students of the Collegio, wherever they might be found, through recreational and cultural activities, a network of contacts and placement resources, in collaboration with the Collegio di Milano itself.

The basic idea is simple: the network of contacts which one creates while at the Collegio is a worthwhile asset, and an advantage which should not be lost—moreover, it should be cultivated and grown—even once a student finds themselves outside the Collegio.

VINCENZO SCUOTTO – PRESIDENT

Vincenzo is a Global Human Resource Manager and corporate consultant who is already head of strategic planning and management control for a primary system integrator.  In the past, he collaborated with Ali Holding, Nestlé and SanPaolo Sgr.  He is President of the Youth Group of the Association of Directors of Personnel, Senior Fellow of the World Federation of the United Nations Associations and of the Atlantic Treaty Association.

Vincenzo obtained an undergraduate degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree post-experience in General Management form the MIP-Politecnico di Milano.  He is Founder and President of “European Excellence for Public Good,” the European Student’s Forum organization, dedicated to the promotion and valorization of European excellence for peace and international security.

EDIT TAFILAJ – VICE PRESIDENT

Passionate about innovation and challenges, in the last two years, Edit has supported the management of The Fork, a Tripadvisor group company, in the launching and development of the project on the Italian market, with a particular focus on sales operations and the coordination of the B2B offer.  Currently, she works in Madrid at ElTenedor, a company of the same group, coordinating the sales operations in Spain, Portugal and Brasil, with an added focus on special projects.  Previously, she worked in the area of startup innovation, initially as a consultant for startups in Nuvolab srl and later as an investment analyst at 360 degrees Capital Partners, European venture capital fund.

MICHAEL LUCIANO – VICE PRESIDENT

From 2013, Michael has worked in Page Group (multinational leader in the recruiting sector) and is specialized in consulting, research and selection of individuals belonging to the protected categories (Law 68/99). After attending two international programs in the USA and India, he obtained a management degree from Bocconi University in 2014. He has resided at the Collegio di Milano from 2010 to 2013, participating in international projects like Hult Global Case Challenge, in which he and his teammates obtained the second place in Europe in a global competition reserved for the best universities and MBA programs in the world.

Today, he holds the role of Vice President of the Alumni Association.

MARCO JEAN ABOAV

Marco is currently the head of asset allocation at Moneyfarm, a digital wealth management company focused on the European market. Before Moneyfarm, he worked as a quantitative analyst in a hedge fund, Horizon Asset LLP, and in Citigroup.  In addition, he has provided consulting services for trading desks. He has obtained a PhD from the Politecnico di Milano in management engineering in 2012, his undergraduate degree also from the same faculty in 2008. He teaches financial technology at the Cass Business School for executive education, he serves as advisor and cofounder of Instilla, a Milan-based digital marketing company, and of Gluon, an information consulting company.  He also consults on financial technology and trading. He was a resident of the Collegio from 2009/2010.
