20/7/2025 – Students meet prof. Giuseppe Pezzotti at Kansai Medical University
Here you can find the link to the article on the KMU website (Japanese).
On July 20, 2025, 55 students and staff members from 15 different Italian merit-based university residences had the unique opportunity of visiting the campus of Kansai Medical University, meeting prof. Giuseppe Pezzotti, director of the Biomedical Centre of the University.
During the meeting, prof. Pezzotti presented a comparison between the Japanese and European educational systems, and invited the students to reflect on what can be the ideal system.
The participants also had the opportunity to visit the Medical Simulation Centre and be a doctor for a day, by trying some of the equipment, including the Lung Sound Auscultation Simulator and the Da Vinci Si.
The encounter was part of the initiative “The Future is Now: Gen Z Leading the Way”, an international educational experience dedicated to students from merit-based university residences, that took place between July 18 and 25.
The visit at Kansai Medical University will hopefully inspire a longlasting collaboration between Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi and KMU, with activities and projects that can further foster the internationalization of both institutions.
