The Collegio di Milano is managed by the Fondazione Collegio delle Università di Milano, a non-profit institution founded in 2003.

Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi is a non-profit institution supported by the Universities of Milan as well as important public and private institutions. Its goal is to be a point of reference within the academic, institutional and entrepreneurial contexts of Italy and Europe.
OUR MISSION
The Foundation’s activities are focused on spreading and promoting the “college experience”, on valorizing a meritocratic culture, the internationalization of the university system, and the integration of local entities. Through its study of the dynamics of temporary accommodation within multicultural contexts, it also presents itself as a force for social mobility and active citizenship.

OUR INITIATIVES
Collegio di Milano
Collegio di Milano is a merit-based inter-university campus recognized and accredited by the Italian Ministry of University and Research. Opened in 2003, Collegio di Milano hosts up to 228 students from all over the world enrolled at the Universities of Milan.
The goal of the Collegio is to strengthen and enhance the potential of the students, proposing them an educational experience to foster their personal and professional growth. Therefore, it offers a varied programme of Cultural and Training Activities and other services, such as tutorship and career service.
Expo College
Expo College is a network of accommodation located in different areas of the city, born to satisfy the residential needs and the cultural, formative and relational requirements of the young citizens of the world.
Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi, with Expo College brand, is a qualified partner for the management of complex multicultural environments, offering accommodation, cultural activities and certified educational opportunities.
Expo Village
EXPO Village, the home of delegates from all over the world partecipating at Expo Milano 2015.
A protected area located in seven towers near the Expo site; in ten months hosted 5.000 guests from 130 countries.
Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi, thanks to its expertise in temporary accommodation in international and multicultural environment, managed Expo Village Milano 2015 and all the cultural activities.
Life From Arts
Preservative restoration of the Marchiondi-Spagliardi Institute, brutalist work of at desgined by architect Vittoriano Viganò. The building, which has been subject to decay and abandonment, will come back to life and become an innovative College of Merit, whose main driver will be art.
There will be 167 rooms: modern accommodations, progressive from the point of view of energy saving and technology. There will also be services and spaces dedicated to studying and artistic and musical education, as well as laboratories, sports areas and restoration areas. The appointing of the works will be by the end of 2024 and the works will begin by spring 2025, with the official opening in September 2028.
