Life from Arts: the model of former Marchiondi-Spagliardi Institute exhibited at Collegio di Milano

Since last week, a model of the former Marchiondi-Spagliardi Institute, previously kept in the building, has been on display in the hall of Collegio di Milano. The model, a copy of which is on display at MoMA in New York, offers a privileged view of the iconic architecture of this brutalist masterpiece by architect Vittoriano Viganò, currently undergoing complex restoration work by the Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi (“Life from Arts”).

Thanks to the display of the model at the Collegio di Milano, it will be possible to view the monumental scale of the complex and understand the vision and ambition of the “Life from Arts” project, which aims to restore the building to its original splendor.

The model will remain at the Collegio di Milano until the completion of the works, scheduled for 2029, after which it will return to its original location.
