Educational offer of Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi.
Educational offer
The goal of the Collegio di Milano is to offer students an educational experience that not only enriches their knowledge, but also allows them to develop the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to understand and manage the complex reality of today’s world. In this sense, there are many activities and opportunities that aim to work and reflect on the present with an eye to the future and to reaffirm the central role that autonomy and responsibility play in personal, academic, and professional growth.
Tutorship and guidance to support students during their stay at the College.
Cultural and educational activities, complementary to the university program, divided into five thematic areas: Imagination, Development, Offline/Online, Perspectives, Sustainability. Multidisciplinarity, international approach, and connection with the world of work.
Personal and professional growth and development of transferable skills.
An educational environment in which to experiment with autonomy, responsibility, and critical thinking
Cultural and Training Activities
Cultural activities are divided into various teaching methods, with an average of 30/40 courses organized annually over two semesters, with the aim of balancing the workload for students across both periods.
The minimum number of training hours required of students for each academic year, according to the methods indicated by the Collegio di Milano, is 140 hours. The total number of hours includes training and development activities, cultural activities, and participation in activities indicated as mandatory (e.g., presentation of activities at the beginning of the academic year, inauguration of the academic year, discussion groups, and completion of the cultural and training activities evaluation questionnaire). Collegio di Milano also encourages and supports sports, as sport is also seen as a tool that accompanies personal growth and the development of social relationships.
Among the Cultural and Training Activities, a tutorship service is offered to accompany students during their stay at Collegio di milano, with the aim of enhancing their talents and supporting their personal and professional growth. The tutorship also aims to support students in recognizing and developing their transferable skills.
A career service is also offered to help students reflect on their career paths, understand the world of work, and enter it (e.g., writing a resume, dealing with selection processes).
Special Guest Evenings
Special Guest Evenings are meetings designed to bring students into dialogue with prominent figures active in various fields of culture, business, art, and society. These meetings provide a reliable and valuable overview of the choices and paths involved in pursuing any career.
