20 & Beyond: in Dubai the project to celebrate the 20 years of the takes off
In 2023 Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi celebrates its 20th anniversary. This milestone will be an occasion to:
- showcase what has been generated in the first 20 years of activity, in order to make it visible and turn it into a prompt and a starting point for the future
- organize educational and institutional events relevant nationally and internationally to celebrate this “birthday”, not looking at the past but rather at the future, and proposing activities that incarnate the idea of “feet in San Vigilio, head in the world”;
- set the goals for the next 20 years of activity of the Fondazione
As a first step of this project, Fondazione has planned a mission that brought a delegation of Members and Friends of the Fondazione to participate to the closing ceremony of Expo 2020 Dubai and mark the end of the project that has seen the students of the Collegio di Milano participating in several activities linked to Expo 2020 Dubai (i.g. workshops within the Cultural Activities, educational and cultural trips to discover Dubai and Expo 2020).
Among the participants to the mission there were also the President of the Fondazione, Salvatore Carrubba, and the Vicepresident, Lucio Stanca.
This experience, which was possible thanks to the contribution of some of the members of the Fondazione, to explore multiple themes that will be discussed in the work that will be developed in the next months, guided by the concepts incarnated by Expo 2020 Dubai “creating the future”.
